COLUMBUS, OHIO, AUGUST 28, 2026 — The NRP Group announced the groundbreaking of Stone Ridge at High Street, a 150-unit affordable housing community on South High Street in Columbus, Ohio. The project was developed in partnership with the City of Columbus and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency.
The community will serve working professionals and families earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). According to Aaron Pechota, Executive Vice President of Development at The NRP Group, the development represents a direct investment in South Columbus and continues nearly 15 years of work the company has completed in the city.
Stone Ridge at High Street will consist of two 5-story buildings on a 4.5-acre site. The buildings will feature a mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom apartments.
The community is located at 45 W. Barthman Avenue, approximately 1 mile from downtown Columbus. The site provides access to public transit within the South High Street corridor and offers proximity to shopping and dining destinations in downtown Columbus. The development is situated near job centers and major employers in German Village and the Brewery District, with Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Southern Gateway district minutes away.
