By Multifamily Newsroom™

NORTH PHOENIX, ARIZONA, OCTOBER 23, 2026 — Leon Multifamily has started construction on Soltra Ironwood, a 343-unit apartment community in North Phoenix, Arizona. The project is part of the company's ongoing development program in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Leon Multifamily is a subsidiary of Leon Capital Group, a holding company with operations in real estate, healthcare, and financial services.

According to the company, the development responds to housing demand tied to expansion in the region's semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has committed to $265 billion in Arizona investment across up to 10 fabrication facilities, 2 advanced packaging plants, and a research and development center. The company stated this build-out is expected to support tens of thousands of construction and permanent jobs in the area.

The community will include studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments. Planned amenities include a resort-style pool, a 24-hour fitness center, co-working space, a clubhouse event space, a dog park and pet spa, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and private garages with EV charging.

First units are expected in the 4th quarter of 2027, with leasing to follow.

Blake Schroeder, President of Leon Multifamily, said in a statement, "North Phoenix's growth story is being written by companies like TSMC, whose expanding investment is bringing tens of thousands of new jobs to the area. Soltra Ironwood is our response to that growth."

LMF Construction, Leon's in-house general contractor, will build the community. The company provides construction management and general contracting services for multifamily developments across the United States, for both Leon's projects and third-party clients. Since 2017, LMF Construction has completed or is currently working on 22 projects, representing more than $1 billion in construction value.

Derek Deckard, President of Construction at LMF Construction, stated, "Every project sharpens the way our team works together, and Soltra Ironwood is no exception. Our crews are ready to get to work, and we're committed to delivering the same level of quality and attention to detail that has defined our projects across the Phoenix market."
